1. Option e: Parenchyma cells may continue the meristematic activity. Parenchyma is a live-cell and function to perform photosynthesis, storage and make the live ground tissue in the vascular system. Fiber cells are dead at maturity and provide support to the plant. Collenchyma, tracheids also formed dead tissues. Though companion cells are alive they lose the integration of nucleus at later stages. So, other options are wrong.

2. Option b: Collenchyma provides additional support to stems and leaves. Vessels elements ( distinctively found in angiosperms) are water-conducting cells in xylem (made up of xylem tracheids and vessel elements) also called trachea. Plant fiber is made up of cellulose, lignins, chitins, pectins, etc. they provide support plants. Companion cells are found associated with the phloem.
