What does it mean if an unknown compound reacts with the Lucas Reagent to form an red/brown precipitate?

The unknown solution is an oily yellow, semi-crystal gel (partially liquid partially crystalline solid at room temp). Usually the Lucas Test turns cloudy in the presence of tertiary and secondary alcohols, but that is not what happened. Instantly after adding a few drops of the Lucas Reagent, the test tube got very hot and formed a red/brown precipitate. What group does this indicate?
