The human weight depends on two main factors, muscles and skeleton, the weight of muscles includes protein and fat. When we talk about gaining weight without affecting blood pressure, we should understand the anatomy of the circulatory system. The blood pressure maintains by heart, arteries, and veins.
Gaining weight should be according to our anatomy because our body stores additional nutrition in the form of carbohydrates and fats. When the walls of the arteries become thick, it does not allow blood to flow at a normal pace so our heart has to work more which increases the blood pressure.
If a person takes a protein-rich diet with balanced fatty acids and regular exercise main gain weight without increasing blood pressure. Intensive exercise, fatty food, lack of sleep, stress and irregular lifestyle causes cardiovascular disease and other health problems.
In my opinion, we should maintain a healthy lifestyle rather than gaining weight and let the body to work on it, our body will maintain an appropriate weight in time.
