Emerging adulthood is a period where one would be preparing oneself in order to become a fully grown adult. It’s marked by one getting a job, forming a healthy relationship, having children and becoming a complete adult. This transition period would cause more complications in one. The complications might come from completing the education or training needed for a stable job in order to become financially more independent. Only this independency would lead one to make confident decisions such as a relationship, marriage and having children.

One would undergo tremendous pressure in terms of managing people, work and one’s own personal preferences. One would be still hold on to the characteristics of the adolescence because it would only a transition period. Balancing professional and personal life would become the most depressing factor of all. One would also find it difficult to make amends in one’s intimate relationships, thus one wouldn’t stay with a single partner. This would make them move from one partner to other causing more stress. If one is financially not settled, one would struggle to manage the children with the limited income.
