Answer #1

One of the most important challenges that someone in the emerging or young adulthood faces is identity vs role confusion. This would mean that one who successfully identifies who they are or what they want to do in life would move towards achieving whatever they target without worrying about the problems they face. Secondly, one would undergo intimacy vs isolation stage where if one successfully able to engage in a relationship and form a family, one would have a strong purpose that would lead them to the next stage of generativity. If one fails to form an intimate relationship and undergo isolation, one would feel oneself as failure thus during the next stage they would experience stagnation.
