Answer #1

Answer-(c). When the Earth blocks the sun from the moon. The total lunar eclipse occurs when all the three bodies are aligned in a straight line that is the moon hides behind the Earth being getting hidden from the sun completely as Earth come in between and Earth's shadow fall on the surface of the moon causing the lunar eclipse.

Please include enough steps in your solution.   During a lunar eclipse, the Moon, Earth, and Sun all lie on the same line, with the Earth between the Moon and the Sun. The Moon has a mass of 7.36 1022 kg; the Earth has a mass of 5.98 x 1024 kg; and the Sun has a mass of 1.99 x1030 kg. se 4: Phases of the Moon Everyone has seen the Moon, which is a natural satellite that orbits the Earth. As the Moon rotates around the Earth it is exposed to various amounts of light from the Sun. The reason for this is simple, the Moon at night because it is reflecting light produced by the Sun and because the Earth is slightly out of the direct line of sight between the Moon and Sun. If it were not, a...
