Answer #1

Answer:

Correct option is $242000.

Explanation:

Computation of cost of ending inventory as per lower of cost or net realisable value:

Cost of ending inventory:

Wall units lower of cost or net realisable value i.e. $190 = 800 units x $190 = $152000

Chairs , lower of cost or net realisable value i.e. $150 = 200 units x $150 = $30000

Tables , lower of cost or net realisable value i.e. $150 = 400 units x $150 = $60000

Total cost of ending inventory = $152000 + $30000 + $60000 = $242000.
