The tiny current loops!
Basically the electron revolve around the nucleus in a orbit and that motion lead to a Current which in turn leads to Magnetic field. but permanent magnet filed is found only in those substance in which there are unpaired electrons.

40. On an atomic scale, what is the source for magnetism in permanent magnets
statements concerning permanent magnets is false? The north pole of a permanent magnets is attracted to a south pole. All permanent magnets are surrounded by a magnetic field. The direction of a magnetic field is indicated by the north pole of a compass. Magnetic field lines outside a permanent magnet originate from the north pole and end on the south pole When a permanent magnet is cut in half, one piece will be a north pole and one piece will...
Q1. In a DC machine, if the field winding is replaced by permanent magnets, can the machine still work? Give your explanation. Q2. Explain the types of armature winding in DC machines.
2) Materials that can be made into permanent magnets are a. paramagnetic. b. diamagnetic. c. ferromagnetic. d. none of the above
In a study designed to test the effectiveness of magnets for treating back pain, 40 40 patients were given a treatment with magnets and also a sham treatment without magnets. Pain was measured using a scale from 0 (no pain) to 100 (extreme pain). After given the magnet treatments, the 40 patients had pain scores with a mean of 6.0 and a standard deviation of 2.2. After being given the sham treatments, the 40 patients had pain scores with a...

Draw the MO for the Br2 molecule from the atomic orbital diagram. Give the bond order and magnetism property.
5) Hold a magnaprobe above the magnet and follow the lines of magnetism around from one pole to another. Observe the compass dial as you move along the line of magnetism. What is the shape of the magnetic field above the magnet? 6) Place the north end of a bar magnet distanced from the south end of another bar magnet. (as shown below) Place a piece of plastic over the two magnets and sprinkle iron filings in the region between...
