I think the idea of climate debt owed by the richer countries to the poorer countries is completely valid , we can see nowadays richer countries have a large amount of carbon emmisions , large number of trees are cut this has a huge impact on the environment and major cause of global warming . As in the richer countries these activities are carried at a larger scale as compared to the poorer countries ,also the impacts of global warming are tremendous on the poorer countries as compared to the richer countries because:

• Specially the poorer countries which are agriculture based countries have unseasoned rainfalls natural calamities which have a large impacts on the production.
• The air quality index have been drastically effected major rich countries have better health facilities and various measures through which the impacts can be reduced but in the poor countries these are not available.

Hence the impacts of global warming is the heaviest on the poorest countries and hence the richer countries are climate debt owed to the poor countries.
