When the computer graphics is considered hence the mipmaps are being considered and calculated and also optimized with respect to the sequence of the mentioned images where every image will be progressive of a lower resolution from that of the same image.

It helps in reducing any of the aliasing artifacts and also helps in increasing rendering speed.
