Once problems have been identified, how do we use strategy to identify alternatives and analyze the alternatives to find the ultimate solution for any given situation.

When there is a problem situation in the work place of the organization it is essential to identify the root cause of the problem rather than just tryig tosort out the issue. A root cause analysis can be performed for the given problem situation which enables the identification of the exact cause of the problem. This can be done through performing certain investigations and research. The formulation o the problem statement is the next stage which provides clarity for the problem.

Once the problem is identified and a problem statement is developed the next stage is the generation of the alternatives. The alternatives can be generated through considering the possible outcomes, the situation, the stand of the top managers etc. For example the problem is the sexual assault the alternatives can be developed considering the legal and regulatory part, the track record of the employees etc. The alternatives can be analyzed through considering the past case scenario, the opinions of the staff members etc.
