propylide ion is better nucleophile in comparison to alkoxy anion because in alkoxy anion the negative charge is on oxygen which is more electronegative than carbon hence it can stablise the negative charge well where as in case of propylide ion the negative charge is concentrated on carbon hence acetylide ion is a better nucleophile.

the pKa value of prop-1-yne (25) is higher than alkohols (16) which makes propylide ion a better nucleophile.
