Explain the purpose of apoptosis.
Apoptosis is the process of cell death. This is the process when cell is no longer needed. The purpose of apoptosis is the normal development of cell and cell cycle. This is required to balance with new cell. The important of this process lie on the fact that in absence of apoptosis malligant cancer take place. Malligant cancer has ability to save from apoptosis.

My question: Explain the relationship between apoptosis and many forms of cancer. What are the prospects of using programmed cell death pathways as a targeted cancer treatment? My answer: Apoptosis is when it clears the body of cells that are set to have a limited life span and that are unneeded or dysfunctional. An example of this is when a woman is on her menstrual cycle; the cells lining the uterus are expelled from the body each month (Marieb and...
What is the difference between apoptosis and necrosis? (b) What is the role of apoptosis in the normal, healthy development of animals?
What is the reason why microbiologist use a apoptosis assay? What are Apoptosis Assay used for in the microbio world? research wise is it use for cancer reasearch etc. Give details please.
1)Describe three functions of death receptor induced apoptosis 2)Explain P53’s role in preventing cells with DNA damage from replicating.
Apoptosis: Apoptosis is utilized by human cells to terminate cell growth for and resorb appendages like vestigial tails in human development. 3) How does the body know where to resorb these structures and how far back to apoptize the cells that make them up? 4) How does the body know when to turn this apoptotic signaling on during development so these events don't happen too soon or too late?
1. A company wants to deliver proteins such as pro-apoptosis protein (e.g. apoptin, tumor necrosis factor related apoptosis, etc) to tumor to treat cancer. You are asked to design a polymer-based drug delivery system which can be suitable for the company purpose. List all fabrication techniques involved and advantages of your system? 2. List the diffusion mechanisms by which rate-controlled release maybe achieved. A company is trying to develop a polymeric implant for controlled release of a drug loaded hydrogel...
What is apoptosis? a means of initiating DNA replication during growth a means of removing unneeded proteins from a cell a process used by cancer cells to migrate through the body a process in which cells direct their own destruction When does a cell use apoptosis? Antibodies produced by the immune system use apoptosis to destroy foreign organisms. After a cell has become cancerous, it will rapidly begin the process of apoptosis. Existing cells go through apoptosis to produce new...
