3. Paracrine is a hormone which has effect only in the vicinity of the gland secreting it.

5. Chemical messenger is released from the axon terminal of a neuron and directly stimulates other cells are called neurotransmitters.

6. ADH or vasopressin is released by posterior pituitary glands. It is a kind of neurohormone. The neurohormones in most mammals include oxytocin and vasopressin, both of which are produced in the hypothalamic region of the brain and secreted into the blood by the neurohypophysis.
