Interest earned on the amount = 12%

Future value of investment = PHP 15000

=> 15000 = Amount invested(A) + Interest earned on A

=> 15000 = A + 0.12*A

=> A = PHP 13392.8571

So, Cain recieved about PHP 13393 on his birthday.
