Family rituals are anthropological practices followed by many cultures with specific traditions. It is an essential form of constructing the social capital with maintenance of important relationships in life. These rituals play an important role before starting important business dealings. It is process of coordination, integrity, emotions among families,transmission of family values among generations and communication for maintaining the culture and traditions in different generations. There are specific beliefs, norms and expectations which are desired in a relationship which maintains the integrity of family beliefs. Language is an essential feature in family values because it helps in the transmission of views and news among people following the same culture and tradition. This concept was given by Sorenson, Goodpaster,  Hedberg and Yu. There are macro and microcommunicative variables which are essential for communication. It helps in the building of images among the family members with gaining of confidence and priorities. There are a wide variety of topics which are discussed in families like sexual activity, finance regulation, career prospects, marriage, job and children upbringing. There should be a balance of positive and negative interactions as mentioned in the Gottman research objectives. The important features in a relationship are:

• Criticism:It is a process of evaluation of the needs and requirements of the people in the society.
• Defensiveness: It is a process of the opposing the views of a person with a counter argument against a specific person's view in life.
• Contempt: It is a lack of a person for views against some other person.
• Stonewalling: It is a process of removing oneself from a specific situation.
• Belligerence: It is a process of acting in a offensive or quarrelsome manner.

There are many intricate, complex and networking relationships in life which are broken if the family rituals are not followed. The negative rituals should be removed by the positive rituals. There should be no obligations and priorities if positive rituals are followed and obeyed. Bossard and Boll have said that rituals are the core of life which are essential for maintaining the integrity of relationships and well being among families. Studies of Bennett have proved that if families have good moral relationships then the children do not indulge in the act of drinking alcohol which causes intoxication in the body. There should be rich culture of family stories and story telling to follow the culture aspects of life.
