I will be evaluating myself from a four part Balanced Scorecard approach in a business scenario. I am working as an employee in Deloitte in the M&A division. My job includes fetching data from clients, preparing databooks, running meaningful analysis and preparing and prsenting a report on the outcomes from the said analysis. Now that I have given you a background of the situation lets dive into the evaluation.

1. The four pillars of evaluation in a balanced scorecard are namely - Operations, People, Customers and Financial.

Having worked on various projects in varied industries I have realised that I am able to follow up on operational efficiency and deliver as per the agreed timelines of the project. I have been able to reduce the turnaround time by eliminating non critical tasks and focusing on deliverable quality.

While working with different teams I have been able to make cordial relationships across the hierarchy which has helped my work cross functionally and with ease.

As for clients, I make sure to keep them updated throughout the life of the project and meet their expeactations hence resulting in recurring sales.

From a financial standpoint I have been able to generate substantial revenue for the firm and have been rewarded for the same.

2. I beleive I have scope of improvement in the people perspective of the balanced scorecard since I could have better colleague relations to keep the harmony maintained along with the work environment which would not only increase my productivity but also give me a sense of belonging.
