Answer #1

ANSWER :

1. The letter "A" labels the pulmonary circuit of the blood in the lungs and letter "B"labels the systemic circuit of the body. The pulmonary circuit receives the deoxygenated blood from the right ventricle and send oxygenated blood to the left atrium of the heart. The left ventricle contracts more forcefully than any atrium of of the heart. Hence none of these option is correct.

2.a) The blood vessel labels with letter "A" is an artery and has more elastic smooth muscle fibres. Hence statement is true.

2.b) The blood vessel "A" has higher blood pressure than vessel "B" due to less lumen diameter of blood vessel "A". Hence related statement is false.

2.c) The blood vessels represents via letter "D" are capillaries, that have very thin epithelial layer hence able to transport CO2 and O2 gases through them. So, the option is true.

2.d) The structure "D" is the arteriole made by the constriction of blood capillaries.

Blood Vessels and the Circulatory System Overview of Circulatory System Blood vessels form closed tubular systems which carry blood from the heart through the systemic and pulmonary systems. Arteries carry blood away from the heart to smaller arterioles, which feed capillary beds. The capillary beds empty into venules, which coalesce into larger veins. All veins eventually empty into the superior and inferior venae cavae or into the pulmonary veins. These vessels return blood to the heart. A. List the heart...
