Following are the things that Apple was able to accomplish by selling their products directly through Apple stores:

  1. Direct customer contact . Thereby having established good relations with customer and received honest feedback.
  2. Command price of product: Apple can decide price of their products as there are no intermediaries in the distribution cycle.
  3. Provide good service: after sales service is facilitated.
  4. Promote products and generate demand for the product even before it is launched in the market. They apply pull based strategy for promoting sales.
