125 mL 12.6 g=0.8 M

1000 mL 1 M=125.844 g

125 mL 1 M=125.844×125/1000=15.73 g

15.73 g=1M

12.6g=12.6/15.73=0.8 M

1 mole MnCl2 produces 1 mole Mn2+ and 2 moles of Cl-.

Molarity of manganese cation=0.8 M

Concentration of chloride=0.8×2=1.6 M
