A scientist in Roswell, New Mexico, USA discovered the wreckage of a crashed alien space ship. Inside are two injured aliens which are then transported back to the Area 51 military base for examination. Blood and tissue samples are taken from each alien for analysis. The following test results come back:
- Unknown Compounds C, D and E were isolated from one of the aliens. Compound C was found locally in a tissue sample, while D and E were removed from what appeared to be the alien’s “blood” circulatory system.
- When Compound C was added to a dish containing the same tissue it was extracted from, it resulted in more Compound C released by the cells it was originally isolated from.
- Compound D, when added to a tissue sample believed to come from the stomach, caused the cells to release H+ ions.
- Lastly, Compound E was shown to also stimulate secretion of Compound C, but this effect was highly magnified when Compound D+E were delivered together (as compared to Compound E alone).
