Answer #1

20) in reabsorption, substance in filtrate is bring back to nloodstream

21) in excretion, substance from blood is actively transported in to filtrate.

22) Renin is the hormone released from the kidney when blood pressure falls.

Kidney are the important organs in our body. They are made up of millions of structural unit nephrons . They filter the blood and excrete the waste fully material in form of urine . The main steps on urine formation are.

a) filtration- in this process blood Is filtered through glomerulus membrane and form glomerular filtrate.

b) reabsorption- in this process, various important constituents present in filtrate is reabsorbed from the filtrate. Approximately 95 percent of reabsorption occur in proximal convulated tubules.

c) secretion- in this phase substance secreted directly in to filtrate eg dye and H ions.

23) A - 1 pair if cerebral ganglia

B - phyranx which is extend through mouth

C - excretory canal

D - flame cell

E - tubule

Question 16 ) option c, a plumber came in the morning and shut off the water supply in your home so that a new water can made it .......

Explanation- in this situation you are deprived of water since long time. So this will activate release of ADH ( anti diuretic hormones) from the posterior pituitary. This act on DCt of kidney, cause absorption of Na followed by water . Thus cause retention of water.

We know that angiotensin II (ANG II) has effects on multiple tissues and, as such, the ACE inhibitor captopril would have several consequences. Select TWO ways that captopril can manage Mimi's high blood pressure. It inhibits the release of anti-diuretic hormone (ADH) and increases water excretion in urine. It decreases aldosterone release, decreases Na+ reabsorption from the principal cells and promotes water excretion. It increases Na+ reabsorption in the proximal convoluted tubule (PCT). It vasodilates arterioles and increases total peripheral...
