Answer #1

Given

Molarity of stock solution (M1)= 4.3 M

Molarity of solution(M2)= 0.6 M

volume of solution(V2)= 100 mL

so how much amount of stock solution is use to prepare 0.6 M solution with 100 mL volume.

So volume of Stock solution is V1

We know

M1V1= M2 V2

4.3 M x V1 = 0.6 M x 100 mL

V1 = 0.6 M x 100 mL / 4.3 M

V1 = 13.95 mL

So 13.95 mL of 4.3 M stock solution is required to produce 0.6 M of 100 mL solution.
