Answer #1

Lets first discuss what is strong interest theory and Myers-Briggs type indicator theory.

Strong Interest theory is an assessment tool used mostly by career development specialists to help people choose a career that is suitable for them.

And Myers Briggs theory is also an assessment tool or test which helps to assess the personality of an individual. Basically, its a questionnaire developed by Isabel Myers and her mother Katherine Briggs after working on Carl Jung's theory of personality traits. Both the test doesn't address issues of culture. gender, social class etc. as strong interest inventory focuses on career, a career can be chosen by anyone irrespective of their class, gender, culture. For example, a Christian can choose to be an engineer just as a Muslim can do. ANd Myers Briggs focuses on testing personality, strengths and preferences and two people can have the same set of preferences, personality etc.
