Answer #1

In generic terms of quality, there are typically three sources of defects such as Minor defects, Major defects and Critical defects. The minor defects are so small that it is insignificant to the overall function of the product. For example, a scratch on the lid of an Powdered Milk Energy Drink Bottle. The scratch is such a minor defect that the buyer may not even bother to return it back to the seller. In case of the Major defects, there could be an adverse effect upon the performance of the Product. For example, the missing or breaking of the inner seal of the Powdered Milk Energy Drink Bottle may make it unsafe for the consumption owing to the possible chances of contamination while in the distribution process. This may result into the return of the product. The last form of defect is that of critical defect. There could be the possibility of some inedible substance mixture in the Powdered Milk Energy Drink bottle such as certain harmful blend of chemical by accident due to certain defects into the automatic system, may make it harmful for human consumption. Such a defect is critical in nature. It may result into health hazards to the consumer of the same.
