why is the force the strongest when current is perpendicular to magnetic field lines from a permanent magnet? I understand the formula F=ILBsinθ and that the force would be greatest at sin90 because sin90=1 but what is actually happening that is making this the case?

Answer #1

We know theta is angle between length (l) and magnetic field( B).So in actull magnetic field and length are perpendicular to each other ,if one is along x axis then other must be in Y or Z axis .

We can't understand physically How and why magnetic field become greatest,we can understand it mathematically only or experimently in Lab
