In general, a Management Information System is used for decision making, and for the control, analysis, coordination and visualization of information in an organization. It is an Information system. The ultimate goal is to increase the value and profits of the business. By the rise of the Internet and electronic commerce, the ethical issues in MIS have been given a new urgency. Some of the ethical issues include establishing accountability for the consequences of MIS. All these Strategic, ethical and social issues in MIS are closely linked.
