Length given is 0.4974 mile or 2626.272ft

We know that change in length per unit length is

(thermal expansion coefficient)*(change in temperature)

0.00158(48-4)

=0.06952

So change in length will be

length*(0.06952)

2626.272*(0.06952)

=182.58ft
