Explain the relationship between numbers of waters oxidized, numbers of NADP+ molecules reduced, number of ATPs produced, and numbers of photons of light entering PSII.
Explain the relationship between numbers of waters oxidized, numbers of NADP+ molecules reduced, number of ATPs...
What is the difference, in number of ATPs produced, between the oxidation of acetyl-CoA and propionyl-CoA? Assume for this question that all molecules enter citrate cycle and produce CAC products. Hint: Proprionyl CoA is converted to succinyl CoA. For this question assume that succinyl CoA enters CAC and continues all the way through (does not leave the cycle as malate).
For a system in thermal equilibrium use Boltzmann's relationship to calculate the ratio of the number of atoms in energy states E1 and E2 if the wavelength of light produced by a transition between the two is 633nm at 300K. If the temperature is reduced to 200K what is the new ratio? Explain the significance of the calculated ratios above in the production of laser light.
What is the relationship between the number of gas molecules and pressure? Is it direct or inverse? Thank you so much!!
Identify the relationship, can you explain as well please Identify the relationship between the two molecules below. CH3 H H3C/ HO Η ΝΗ, насHCH, Нон NH2 A. Diastereomers B. Constitutional isomers C. Enantiomers D. Same molecule E. Same molecule & meso
explain the relationship between the Law of Diffusion and the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics. What process(s) are available to cells to reverse the effects of the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics when it comes to molecules entering and exiting cells? Explain.
77. Of the following, which occurs during the Calvin cycle? a) Excited electrons are conveyed from chlorophyll to an electron acceptor b) Light energy is converted to chemical energy C) ATP and NADPH are synthesized d) Photons are absorbed e) CO2 is reduced 78. Which of the following occurs during the Calvin cycle? a) Linear electron flow produces the materials required for the fixation of carbon from carbon dioxide. b) Light energy is converted to chemical energy c) ATP is...
Study Guide Questions 1. Explain the relationship between the kinetic energy of molecules or atoms in a system, and temperature, 2. Explain what it means when someone says, "Water is a polar molecule." (Bet you hear that all the time!) 3. What are hydrogen bonds? 4. Why is it difficult to heat up (or cool down) water? 5. Why is water such a good solvent? Are there any substances water cannot dissolve? Why or why not? 6. What is surface...
Taking into consideration both the size and number of organisms at each trophic level, explain the relationship between biomass and trophic levels. What are the advantages of measuring trophic levels by the number of individuals? What are the advantages of measuring trophic levels by the amount of biomass? While studying a terrestrial ecosystem, be clear, thorough, and scientifically accurate.
