One problem with 'deep fakes' is that:

1) Images do not have the same power as words on people's views.

2) They cannot be with drawn from the internet once they are there

3) They are so obviously not real, people ignore them.

4) They can be forcibly withdraw, but it is often too late as they have an immediate effect

Deep fakes is a way in which a video is manipulated to suit someone's agenda. Deep fakes are usually used for political agendas of parties and people. It is getting harder than ever to spot deep fakes. Even when a fake video is found and removed, by then it has reached millions of people and served the purpose for which it was made.
