A student traveled to Mars, and wanted to find the acceleration due to gravity there. She set up an Atwood's machine to do this and found the local acceleration due to gravity to be 4.1 m/s^2, and she had a nice Gaussian distribution with a standard deviation of the mean (SDOM) of 0.1 m/s^2. What is the t-score?

On Mars, the acceleration due to gravity is 3.71 m/s2. How far would a rock fall in [Number 6.01] s if you dropped it on Mars?
On Mars, where the acceleration due to gravity is 3.8 m/s2, a 500 gram ball is thrown from a cliff that is 30 m above the ground at a speed of 22 m/s. The ball lands 45 m away from the base of the cliff. What is the speed of the ball just before it hits the ground?

A ball is thrown upward from the top of a building with a speed of 30 m/sec. The height of the building is unknown. Assume the acceleration due to gravity is 10 m/see?. 1. (2pts) Find the velocity of the ball -)as a function of timet. (Hint: a- du/dt- 10) 2. (2pts) When does the ball reach the highest point? 3. (2pts) Find the displacement traveled by the ball during 0 Sts5 4. (4pts) Find the total distance traveled by...
The acceleration of gravity is found by dropping a ball from various heights. The data for the experiment is as follows: Distance, d (meters): 15.43 17.37 19.62 21.68 Time, t (seconds): 1.804 1.915 2.043 2.149 a.) Copy these data and add a third row which contains the calculated accelerations due to gravity as given by g = 2d/t^2. b.) By finding the mean and standard deviation, show that the answer is inconsistent with the accepted value of g = 9.80...
Acceleration due to gravity on board of your spaceship that orbits Jupiter is 25.89 m/s. How high is your spaceship above Jupiter's cloud tops? Express your answer in kilometers and round it to the nearest integer. M Jupiter = 1.90 x 104 kg; R Jupiter = 69,911 km. Your cosmic journey brought you into the vicinity of a neutron star. In fact, you are orbiting this neutron star at an orbital distance of 22.424 kilometers. The neutron star has mass...

For the preparation and standardization of NaOH with KHP im supposed to boil water for 1hr and 30 min to remove CO2....the problem is that if I don't boil it for that long and (30 min) b/c of not enough time but I put the water I boiled for 1/2 hr aproximately into a NaOH bottle with a CO2 absorber and stored it there for a few days. I would assume that I would have to boil the water again...but...
