When the solutiona of different osmolality are separated by a semi permeable membrane Then the process of Osmosis wil determine the direction of water molecules ie. Water will move from the region of higher water concentration to the region of lower water concentration.

A) Hypertonic solutions are those solutions in which the concentration and of the solutes is less and the water concentration and s high as compared to the outer environment.

B) An hypertonic solution is that solution which has more

solute concentration and low water concentration as compared to the outer environment.

C) iaotonic solutions are those solutions in which the concentration of aolutes aand water ia the same like that of the external surrounding.

If olny water molecules can move between two solutions separated by a membrane, then water molecules will move from higher water concentration to the low water concentration of the solution.
