Answer : Demographic transition means that the economy has been transfered from high birth and death rate to the lower birth and death rate .

Reason for Demographic transition are :

• Family planning policy should be adopted and educate the people about benefits of small family.
• Better health facialities should be provided so that there is low death rate of infant.
• Late marriages of women so that fertility time has been reduced.
• Development of industrial sector which give rise to employment oppournities
• Good and nurtient food should be provided so that they become healthy and live longer
• Standard of living increases
• Spreading of Education at rapid speed.
• Industrialisation and technology has come in the society

Increasing population is a problem in an developing country. So, developing countries should adopted various action and formmulate policies to control population :

• Minimum age of marriage should be raised so that the fertility has been reduced.
• Elminate discrimination between men and women.
• Changes the outlook of the people by spreading education.
• Changes in the social outlook. Marriage should no longer considered as social binding
• Increasing employment oppournities
• Development of agriculture and industrial sector which has improved standard of living
• People move towards urbanisation means increasing the standard of living and decreasing death rate and birth rate.
