Some of the problems that Microsoft is facing are:

Despite all its efforts, Microsoft has not been able to get a strong foothold in the market. Currently, the mobile market share of Microsoft is merely 3.5 percent, whereas, apple has 14.8 percent and google/android has 80.2 percent.
Internet browser of Microsoft i.e Internet explorer has lost its shine, as people are using google chrome more frequently. In fact, IE has lost around 50 percent points since 2008. Plus bing also not been able to catch with google search, with bing is just about 18.7 percent people’ choice in comparison to google search which is being preferred by approximately 67.6 percent people.

Some of the issues that Microsoft is facing are:

The windows 10 operating system has been facing issue of updating reboot without warning.
Despite being a huge success, Office 365 has been facing issues regarding functionality by many companies who are using this.
