Can someone please help me determine if this is
autosomal dominant, autosomal recessive, x-linked recessive or
x-linked dominant?
I think its autosomal dominant but correct me if I'm wrong.
It is "autosomal dominant".
The affected phenotype is NOT skipping the generations, and no offsprings are affected if parents are normal. Therefore, it indicates that the allele causing the particular conditions is dominant.
X-link inheritance is not possible because affected father is able to transfer the particular condition to his son and daughter as well. A father can only transfer "Y" chromosome to his son ("X" chromosome comes from mother),
Thus, the only possibility remains is autosomal dominant as a father transfer autosomal alleles to both sons and daughters.
