You are working for CreatX. CreatX have bought an off-the-shelf payroll solution which will integrate with their existing resource timesheet system. You are a software developer working for the company and realise that they plan on changing over to the new system without testing. As the system came from a vendor, the owners of the business argue that it will work correctly.

1. What type of testing would you suggest they do and write down an argument with one pro and one con for testing that you would tell the owners of CreatX.
2. What stakeholder should you approach to discuss this and hopefully help you to approach the owners of CreatX. [Explain why you chose that stakeholder.

Sol:

Regression testing :- As a developer i will suggest the administrater to do an regression testing to the software .

Because this test ensures that even we integrating new modules to the existing program that does not effect the already existing program .

pros:

* The regression test will help to identify whether the new modules will work with the existing system.

* Test will ensure the future efficiency of the system

cons:

* The test is very much time consuming to be done .

* Un-suitable for sudden result expecting scenarios

I will approach the SYSTEM ADMINISTRATER to put forward this concern to the higher level . Why because a system administrater is the one who responsible for system monitoring and trouble shooting problems . When he convinced the severity of the issue he can able to contact the higher authorities to take an action .
