   • Also briefly discuss two industries that have been adversely affected by this trend.

Under the demographic segment, ageing population will make the firms to produce goods and services that suits to their age and maintain their health, fitness and body. Ageing population, will be more conscious w.r.t. their body and health, so accordingly, firms have to launch new products to remain successful.

An industry producing health supplements, and industry producing  personal care  products that maintain the health and fitness, will be successful. Besides, industry producing sports goods and fitness relates utility devices, will also be successful. These industries have a focus and brand positioning to improve the health and fitness level, so these industries are able to succeed.

Junk food producing industry and industry producing carbonated beverages items having no impact on health, will suffer, because people are aware of their fitness and health. So, these people will not opt to go for these products. Hence, these industries will suffer.
