We know lens equation

\frac{1}{u}+\frac{1}{v}= \frac{1}{f}

given:

u= - 8 cm

f= -32/2= -16 cm

So,

-\frac{1}{8}+\frac{1}{v}= -\frac{1}{16}

Thus , v= 16 cm

Ans: 16 cm
