No Amazon currently not purchased any insurance from the US overseas private investmnet corporation because Amazon is a US based company that not only operate in US but in many countries like China, brazil.india,germany etc.

I believe amazon associates should purchase insurance from OPIC because company operate in multiple countries where political and legal system is different. for example- China country has political issues with US government due to trump administration, Brazil is associated with fair share of corruption while indian government is trying to promote its own home based companies.

So this increases the risk of political environment which can be insured by political risk insurance.This insurance will help amazon associated and its investors from a variety of situations like political violence, expropriation or other government interference, and currency inconvertibility and coverage upto $250 million.
