Sustainability

Reason- Sustaninability means to carefully using the resources not only to meet our present needs but also to see that the resources do not get extinct and are available in the future also. This is a term used for the betterment of present as well as of the future. This phenomena is now used every where in the world. The depletion in the natural resources, has enhance theis concept of sustainability. The sustainability works on the concept that to use the resources and technology judiciously to meet the current and future demands of the customers. The companies should use their environmental,human, and economic resources carefully considering the need of the future generations.

Question 11- Employee empowerment refers to-

Giving employees responsibility for their work

Reason- Employee empowerment is a new concept in the organization in which the employees are responsible for their own work and there is no need to supervise the employee's activities by the mangement. The employees are given authority to take decisions about their work. This is mainly done to make theemployees realize that they are an important part of the organization and also to boost up their confidence devision making, work attitude etc.The employees are provided with better trainibng facilities to be able to take their own decision in a righteous way. This concept improve the level of trust between the employees and the employer. They are given rewards for their good decisions but are not penalized for their work. They are encouraged to do better as they  are an integral part of the organization and it is their decisions that effect the performance of an organization. The employees become more careful while doing their work as they treat the company as their own and it is their responsibility to make the company reach to the new heights of success.

Reason- Deming provided with 14 total quality management steps for the improving the quality of production of the organization. On these points he emphasized that the organizations should continuously try to improvise their quality of production as in a competitive market for long term existence, the organization should constantly try to improvise their products over the others. The organizations should engage themselves in constant research and try innovation and creativity in  their products for developing a base of satisfied customers. For improvising the quality, the organizations should stick to only one loyal supplier and try to maintain a long term association with them, for maintaing a consistency of supply.The organizations also should not compromise on the quality of the raw materials to be used in the production process. Long term association with the supplier will be highly beneficial as the supplier will also try to provide quality materials on time to maintain the bonding with the organization. Another pointn on which Deming focused is on the continous improvment by trainning and other methods of the employees of the organization. As the skill and knowledge of the employees increases, the quality of the productivity automatically rises. The more skilled and trained employees can produce more quality products.
