She removed the pericardial sac and removed the heart to examine it further. She was able to identify the carotid artery on the heart. List three things that are incorrect in this scenario.

Answer #1

1. The dissecting probe has to be pointed and thin to cut various tissues precisely , not disturbing other tissues.

2. Heart is not in the middle of the body cavity. It is slightly to the left of the thorax (anterior body cavity).

3. After cutting the heart from the body, we do not observe carotid artery on the heart. Becasue, carotid arteries are the ones going to head region which are not fund on the heart.

We observe Aortic arch on the heart which will then give rise to the carotid arteries going to head and neck.
