The given diagram is of a gram-negative bacteria that has two membranes i.e. outer membrane and inner membrane. The inner membrane is also called as the cytoplasmic membrane. A thin peptidoglycan layer is sandwiched between the outer and the inner membranes.

The outer membrane has a lipopolysaccharide layer attached to it. It has lipid A which are connected to O-antigens.

In the figure, there are five parts that are to be labeled. These are A, B, C, D, and E.
