The address belong to class B where # of network ID bits = 16 and #of host ID bits = 16.

For the smallest network means # of address should be minimum. For this, the host ID bits should be maximum 2 then # of address per subnet will be 2 which is the minimum possible.

When host ID bitsb= 2 , subnet ID bits = 16-2 = 14.

For subnet mask, make all host ID + network ID bits to 1.

Network ID = 139.200.104.108

Subnet Mask = 1111111 11111111 11111111 11111100

= 255.255.255.252
