1) Methods are generally the block of codes or statements in a program that gives the user the ability to reuse the same code which ultimately saves the excessive use of memory, acts as a time saver

2) it provides a better readability of code otherwise the code could have been a messy one with lots of things in the main program making it difficult to read

3) Methods provide access to information hiding sometimes by using private or protected modifier.
