Positive aspects of landfills-

-It is a source of sustainable development where wastes can be managed to be recycle and reuse after processing them.

-It separates out the wastes and accumulation of waste occurs in a particular area with different industrial advantages for their treatment. Without landfills all the places would have been filled with waste materials.

- There is a section of society dependent upon waste management for their economy so it's helpful for them.

Negative aspects of landfills-

-Ther is release of toxic materials through air,water and animals which are released from the waste treating industries. These are responsible for increased resistance of some microbes and lead to various human diseases.
