1. It is because the healthcare workforce helps to increase health care access for the unserved. Therefore, the people that enroll in healthcare services come here for their passion to work for unserved instead of just following a rat race in search of a good salary and other benefits.
2. It is because they promote research in neglected areas of social needs. It attracts people who likes research activities. These people generally represent diverse cultures which in turn affect healthcare.
