The first figure shows a leaf. The widest part of the leaf is called lamina which is also called the leaf blade. Leaves are attached to the plant stem by the petiole. Leaves have a small green appendage at the base of the petiole called stipule. Leaves also have midrib, veins and margin.

The Table represents different cell division phases. Cell division occurs in somatic cells by a process called mitosis. Mitosis can be divided into four stages :

1.prophase: Prophase is the starting phase of mitosis in which the chromatin fibres start to condense. The nuclear membrane and nucleolus disappear during this phase.

2.Metaphase: Metaphase is the stage when the condensed chromosomes are arranged at the equatorial plane. Spindle fibres attach to the centromere of chromosomes.

3.Anaphase : Anaphase involves the movement of chromatids(arms of chromosome) to the two poles. Chromosomes splits from the centromere and one chromatids moves to one pole and the other chromatid moves to the opposite pole by the pulling action and shortening of spindle fibres.

4. Telophase: Telophase marks the end of mitosis. The cell completely divides into two and the nuclear membrane and nucleolus reappear. Here occurs two divisions- cytokinesis and karyokinesis. The former involves division of the cytoplasm into two daughter cells and the latter involves division of nucleus into two daughter cells.

Mitosis results in the production of two identical daughter cells and all our somatic cells divide by the process of mitosis. Mitosis is an equational division and retains the chromosome number of the dividing cell.

Field of vision 4 consists of 3 Prophase, 2 Metaphase, 2 Anaphase and 2 Telophase.

Field of vision 3 contains maximum number dividing cells.
