Ans) 1. Identify all the regions of open chromatin in a particular cell type: DNAse-seq.

It is a technique used to determine the sequences of nucleic acid in the DNA. The four bases used are : Adenine , Guanine , Cytosine and Thymine.

2. Perform of paternity test : DNA fingerprinting.

In DNA fingerprinting , special proteins known as Restriction enzymes are used , these restriction enzes cuts that DNA at the combination of A , G , T and C. Distinct Restriction enzyme cuts the DNA at the different places and each has a unique sequence for its recognization. It was the technique which became available for the first time in 1988.

3. Amplify a specific sequence of DNA : PCR.

PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) is used to amplify the single copy or a few copies of a piece of DNA that generates millions of copies of a specific DNA sequence.

4. Compare the global level of RNA expression between two samples : RNA-seq.

It is a technique which utilizes the next generation sequencing to acknowledge the existence and quantity of RNA in a sample at the particular moment and analyse the continuously changes in the cellular transcriptone.
