In the proposed condition yeast was not growing well in when bacterial infection was present but once bacterial activity reduced through the application of the antibiotics, yeast take over and proliferate. This is an example of ‘The competitive exclusion principle’ once competition removed (bacteria) which lead to over growth of fungi (yeast) once competition finished in the system.
