Question1:
what is 1 dimensional,2 dimensional and 3 dimensional shapes/forms?

Question2: What are all the measurements we can solve to 1 dimensional, 2 dimensional and 3 dimensional?, pls write down all dimensional list of each shape/form that fall in the category and list all measurements we can solve for in that shape

example format: cone is a three dimensional shape
kinds: right circular cone, etc
measurements we can solve for right circular cone: surface area, etc, etc, etc (list all)
formula,given values we need to solve for surface area: (surface area formula) given values we need is radius and height etc

Answer #1

Question1

1-dimensional shapes - Straight Lines

2-dimensional shapes - Circles, Straight Lines , Curved Lines, Polygons (ex- square, rectagle, traingle, penatagon etc.)

3-dimensional shapes - Cones, Spheres, Cubes, Cuboids, Prism, Cylinder.

Question2

Straight lines -

measurements we can solve for- Lenght of straight line. Formula= distance between two endpoints.

____________________________________________________

Circles -

Measurements we can solve for- Circumference = 2\pi radius , Area = \pi r^2

Polygons-

Kinds - square, rectangle, traingle, regular polyon of n sides.

Measurements we can solve for is Area, Perimeter

Square Area =(side) Peremeter=4 sides

Rectangle Area = (width)(height) Peremeter= 2( width+height)

Traingle = 1/2(base)(height) Peremeter =( sum of it's sides)

Regular polygon of 'n' sides = 1/2(perimeter)(apothem) Peremeter = n(side)

For Cones, Spheres, Cubes, Cuboids, Prism, Cylinder.

Measurements we can solve for - Surface Area (SA) and Voulme (V)

Cones - r : radius h : height

SA= \pi r(r+ \sqrt{r^2+h^2})V=\pi r^2h/3

Sphere - r : radius

SA=4\pi r^2   V=4\pi r^3/3

Cubes - edge : a

SA=6a^2   V=a^3

Cuboid -  l : lenght w : width g : height

SA= 2(lw+wh+lh)V=lwh

Cylinder - r : radius h : height

SA= 2\pi rh+2\pi r^2V=\pi r^2h
